[Session 1] Debriefing session for the universities participating in the MEXT Inter-University Exchange Project

  • Presentations by universities selected for participation in the 2017 IUEP.
  • Consultations between the universities selected for participation in the IUEP and the Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology (MEXT).

[Session 2] Plenary meeting

  • Welcome addresses: Hokkaido University, Ministry of Education, Ministry of Economy.
  • Introductory presentation (on the role of industry, academia and government collaboration in specialized sections).
  • Presentations by Niigata University and Krasnoyarsk State Medical University on their respective projects in the field of medicine.
    • Collaboration of industry, academia and government within the framework of a regional consortium (Niigata University).
    • raining of medical specialists at Krasnoyarsk State Medical University (KSMU)
  • Students’ presentations on their internship experience
    • 2 Russian students: Far Eastern Federal University (admitted at Hokkaido University), Moscow State University (admitted at Tokai University).
    • 2 Japanese students: University of Tsukuba, Far Eastern Federal University Hakodate Campus.
  • Expectations regarding collaboration with industry and government
