City of Monbetsu invites you to participate in the 36th International Symposium on the Okhotsk Sea & Polar Oceans (Mombetsu-2021 Symposium) to be held in Mombetsu, Hokkaido, Japan, on 21st to 24th February 2021. The subjects are on sea ice, Arctic sea routes, global warming and other Northern region subjects.

Schedule:
◆ 21 February 2021 —– Opening Ceremony at Mombetsu Citizens’ Hall
◆ 22-24 February 2021 — Scientific Session at Mombetsu Culture Hall
◆ 25-26 February 2021 — Field study (Hot spring around Mombetsu)

Application deadlines:
Article: 30 September 2020 — Manuscript (Max 6 pages, Camera-ready) (Cold region technology and others)
Workshop proposal: 06 November 2020 — If you want to make a workshop, submit its title and contents.
General: 04 December 2020 — Short Summary (200 words)
12 January 2021 — Final Manuscript (Max 4 pages)
Photo Exhibition: 12 January 2021 — Submit photos with its title and explanation.
