A Preparatory Meeting of the Human Resource Exchange Committee was held at Hokkaido University on January 19, 2018. The committee, jointly adopted by Hokkaido University and Niigata University in the 2017 academic year, was planned under the framework of the Inter University Exchange Project (Type B: Platform Construction Program (Russia) of the Ministry of Education, Sports, Science and Technology – Japan, and is part of the Platform Project that aims to form the frame of exchanges between Russia and all Japan.

This preparatory meeting of the committee was attended by representatives from 10 domestic universities together with the Vice-President of the Russian Rectors’ Union and President of Pacific National University Mr. Sergei Ivanchenko, and the Dean of Faculty of Psychology at Moscow State University Mr. Alexander Raevskiy, among others.

Facilitated by Professor Hirofumi Kato of Hokkaido University and Vice-President Hideki Takahashi of Niigata University, the preparatory meeting comprised exchanges of opinion regarding the Human Resource Exchange Committee’s organization, agenda and the like.
