On Wednesday, January 20, 2021, the Sixth Meeting of the Committee for Personnel Exchanges was held. A total of forty people, including seven core members and eight regular members of the Committee for Personnel Exchanges, as well as 25 administrative staff from Japanese universities, participated in the online meeting. At this meeting, the guidelines currently being created by the committee regarding credit exchange between Japanese and Russian universities were presented with updates based on the structure approved at the previous meeting, and participants reviewed the purposes of these guidelines and how they are to be used. In addition, after confirming the content of the report on the activities of the committee at the Third Japan Russia Industry, Academia and Government Working-level Conference to be held the following week, as well as the schedule for the committee moving forward, a lively discussion was held on the topic of credit exchange between Japanese and Russian universities.
