平成29年度 文部科学省 大学の世界展開力強化事業 採択プログラム (令和3年度終了)

City development

This specialized section, led by Hokkaido University, corresponds to the theme of “Developing comfortable and clean cities that are easy to live in and support active lives” in the eight-point cooperation plan proposed at the Japan-Russia Summit meeting in 2016.

The section aims to foster the development of future leaders in city planning in Japan and Russia, such as individuals with expertise in the design of houses and public facilities for cold regions.

For this purpose, member universities collect, share and disseminate information and experiences regarding their educational programs and other relevant matters. They also work to form consortiums with the support of governments and other private companies in the two countries.

Participating universities:
Hokkaido University (leader university), Tokyo University, Niigata University, Nagaoka Institute of Technology, Sapporo City University
